What are Jumper Cables and Test Leads?

Jumper Cables (low or medium voltage) are pre-assembled or prefabricated cables (jumpers) with separable connectors or terminations at each end. They provide permanent connections between electrical equipment like transformers, switchgear and industrial machinery. Pre-assembled jumper cables save time on installation and reduce the risk of errors on-site.

Electrical Test Leads are temporary cables used for diagnostic or maintenance purposes. Engineers often use a test lead kit or test lead set to safely perform measurements on transformers, motors and other installations without interrupting operations.
