2004
Part of the Norfolk-based E-Tech Group, July sees E-Tech commence trading at its original base in Gillmoss, Liverpool.
E-Tech Group decides to move out of the area, while September sees former employee Chris Montgomery buy out E-Tech.
E-Tech become Authorised Prysmian Distributor.
E-Tech become Authorised & Exclusive UK Elpress Distributor.
E-Tech launch first product website, before Google was even launched to the public.
2005
E-Tech wins the Celebration of Success Awards’ – Enterprise for Outstanding Achievement Award.
2007
E-Tech become Authorised Dutchclamp Distributor.
2009
E-Tech launch e-commerce shop.
2010
E-Tech wins the UK Trade & Investment’s 2010 Passport to Export Award for its overseas success.
2011
After a few new additions to the team, E-Tech relocates to new premises at Park Court, St Helens.
2013
Apprentice Craig Doubleday wins 3AAA Apprentice Award at The House of Commons.
E-Tech Team undergoes training in Sweden to gain Elpress Authorised Service Centre accreditation.
E-Tech open their Elpress Authorised In-House Tool Repair & Calibration Centre.
2017
The Swedish-based, world-leading technology group Lagercrantz acquires E-Tech, initiating a successful collaboration.
2018
E-Tech grows further and moves to brand new premises at the West Lancashire Investment Centre in Skelmersdale.
2019
E-Tech is certified as ISO 9001:2015 by QMS.
2022
E-Tech become Authorised Nexans Distributor.
2023
After further growth and expansion, E-Tech relocates to Heron Business Park, Widnes, featuring a larger warehouse, sales offices, meeting rooms and an in-house tool repair & calibration centre, all under one roof.
In March, senior executives from The Lagercrantz Group visit E-Tech’s new premises in Widnes to discuss future plans and strategy following steady growth.
2024
E-Tech become Authorised ENSTO Distributor.
E-Tech gets certified as ISO 14001:2015 by LRQA.
In June, E-Tech receives 1st Place for Sales Expansion, 1st Place for Development and 3rd Place for Growth at the Lagercrantz Group’s Award Ceremony in Finland.
