The Wibe Group Stago KG281 Steel Cable Tray System is a versatile cable containment solution for commercial buildings, visible installations and light-duty industrial applications. Manufactured from galvanised sheet steel, it features a double-folded beaded edge and pressed base for high longitudinal strength. This allows longer spans between suspension points while reducing installation time and support requirements. The system offers high load capacity, straightforward installation and a wide choice of trays, fittings, dividers, covers and suspension systems.

Installation Process

1. Position trays so cables can be laid directly into them rather than threaded through
2. Where possible, install trays at least 300 mm below fixed ceilings to keep cabling accessible for maintenance and extensions
3. Maintain at least 200 mm of clearance between trays installed one above another and 50 mm between the tray and wall
4. Deburr all cut or drilled edges immediately to prevent cable damage or personal injury. Use protective strip where required.
5. Use suitable PPE during installation, including work clothing, safety helmets, footwear and gloves
6. Mount trays on suitable wall or ceiling structures, C-clamps or support profiles. When determining suspension spacing, consider the load capacity of both the tray and suspension system. Where possible, install M6 fixing screws with the rounded head inside the tray to reduce the risk of mechanical cable damage.
