3M CSCAK Cold Shrink Cable Abandonment Kits are a complete solution to abandon cables either temporarily or permanently. Using 3M Cold Shrink Technology, they provide environmental sealing and mechanical protection without heat or specialist tools. Suitable for single and multicore XLPE/PVC insulated cables, with or without lead sheaths or armour, they also suit ship wiring, offshore cables, corrugated aluminium-sheathed cables and armoured instrumentation cables up to 5kV.

Each kit contains a cold shrink end cap, pre-stretched tube, self-amalgamating insulation tape, armour / earth connection components, and full installation instructions. Ultimately, these 3M kits provide a quick, simple and reliable way to decommission cables.
