Nexans SRDF Outdoor MV Heat-Shrink Terminations (Three Core)
Nexans SRDF Outdoor MV Heat-Shrink Terminations (Three Core) are medium voltage heat-shrinkable outdoor terminations for three core screened polymeric insulated cables (PVC, XLPE, EPR, etc.) up to 36 kV. Standard core tube lengths are shown below, but can be extended by using extra lengths of anti-tracking HSRU tubing. Meets the requirements of CENELEC HD 629.1 and IEC 60502-4.

Nexans SRDF Applications
For outdoor use and exposed to prolonged sunshine and other weather conditions. Heat-shrinkable terminations for three-core polymeric cables, widely used by power utilities and in industrial applications. SRDF Outdoor version’s design makes it perfect for terminating cables onto OHL networks. Equally suitable for exposed equipment bushings or installations requiring longer creepage distances. Additional items may be necessary to complete installation depending upon the cable detail:
- Copper-tape screened cables will require additional SE Solderless Screen Earthing Kits
- Cable Glands to earth the wire armours (SWA)
- Cable Terminals
- Additional Bushing Insulation (Boot Kits)
- Gland Insulation Kits
