Ellis Patents 2F Two Hole Single Way Cable Cleats

This 2F cleat comes in a range of sizes and features a standard construction in Black Polypropylene or Black Flame Retardant VO Zero Halogen UV Stabilised Nylon (LSF).  A special London Underground-approved material is also available upon request. For added cable protection, neoprene liners with sidewall up-stands can be fitted within the clamp by adding an ‘L’ suffix to the part number.

  • Designed in compliance with IEC 61914 standards for cable cleats in electrical installations
  • Manufactured from robust polymeric material, available in two types: LSF (-40°C to 60°C) and B (-40°C to 40°C)
  • UV-resistant with Xenon Arc Method A testing, ensuring durability in outdoor environments
  • Heavy-duty impact rating, tested to withstand very heavy impacts
  • Flame propagation tested with a ≥30s application time; LSF version is compliant, B version is non-compliant
  • Provides secure axial and lateral load ratings (refer to data table below for detailed values)
  • Short-circuit tested at 600mm intervals for up to 80.2kA on 2F+07LSF cleats (Report No. PDL-17.137.3, Ø36mm cable, 100mm phase spacing).
  • Short-circuit tested at 1m intervals for up to 113kA on 2F+142LSF cleats, withstanding multiple short circuits (Report No. PDL-15.025.1, Ø117mm cable, 200mm phase spacing)
