Prysmian BICON Barr-PB Exd IIC Cable Gland (424TP Series) is a brass indoor and outdoor cable gland for use in Zone 1 and Zone 2 hazardous areas. Suitable for use with braid armoured cables.

Prysmian 424TP Features

  • Brass indoor and outdoor cable gland for use in Zone 1 and Zone 2 hazardous areas.
  • Suitable for circular, galvanized steel single wire armour cables with extruded
    polymeric oversheath and Lead inner sheath
  •  Achieves IP66 seal onto cable and to enclosure with suitable sealing washer or thread sealant
  • Provides mechanical cable retention and electrical continuity through the armour wire termination
  • Provides electrical continuity to the inner lead sheath
  • Suitable for most climatic conditions – weatherproof and waterproof
  • Standard and Nickel plated versions available
  • Full Installation Instructions supplied
