The Prysmian BICON Terminations include Coldfit Medium Voltage Terminations for 11kV Systems, Heatshrink Medium Voltage Terminations for 11kV Systems and Flexible Silicone Rubber Bushing Boot (sealing sleeve).
Prysmian BICON Coldfit Medium Voltage Terminations – Description
Quick and easy to install, offering high reliability and excellent performance for both indoor and outdoor use. The terminations include built in high permittivity stress controlling material. Once installed, the termination offers excellent insulation levels and lower surface stress, which results in a more compact termination. For outdoor use the terminations have moulded-in rain sheds, which are designed to let water run off when installed in an upright position.
Coldfit 11kV Terminations to suit polymeric insulated single or three core copper wire screen cables:
– All cable sizes based on compression connectors.
– Additional earthing kits required for copper tape screen and lead sheath cables (please see selector charts included in PDF file).
